What will I learn?

The emphasis during lessons is on increasing fluency, accuracy and confidence when speaking and on improving and developing your listening skills. You will acquire the vocabulary, expressions and strategies needed to cope effectively in the most important everyday situations. At higher levels, taking part in discussions and debates will enable you to more fully understand British culture and society. Reading skills are developed using a wide range of authentic texts. The writing syllabus, based on classroom activities, provides the basis for homework and important consolidation.

You can check your current level by taking our FREE ONLINE ENTRANCE TEST.

If you are booking on a English 23 hour course you will be in school from 09:00 until 15:30 Monday to Thursday, finishing on Friday at 12:30. Outside of these periods, and during the 30 minute morning coffee break and 60 minute lunch break, you will not be supervised and will have free time in the afternoons after lessons, in the evenings and at weekends.

We do provide information and support for the students on staying safe in their free time, and a wide range of afternoon and evening activities and day trips at weekend are organised by the school – students need to book and pay for these individually. There are full day excursions organised at the weekends, and students can book and pay for these during the week.
